Uh...Hello?
Hey. You guys are still here. Awesome. So I'm finally trying to post regularly now on both DeviantArt and RyanWinn.com.
Big stuuf comin' up, folks. This Thursday, May 24, From the ashes of Arizona shall rise a Phoenix Comicon of epic 2012 proportions. They have given me the sacred spot 938. Well maybe it's not sacred yet. People you should also visit- my buddy Joe Weems at 1039, Tony Parker right next door to yours truly at 939! Jason Gonzo at...well he doesn't have a table you can probably find him at the CBLDF booth pimpin La Mano del Destino! Find out more about that here- [link]
I will have a viva variety of prints/posters available. Mod Death Betty and Retro Death Betty 4 color screen posters, and a two color Mod Death Betty as a freebie if you come up and play nice with me, but only while supplies last. Hand screened by Texas rock star artist Billy Brakhage. Any one that's been to Austin has most assuredly seen some of Billy's signs or murals. Most viewed prolly being the Welcome to Austin post card mural. More on Billy to follow.
Joe Weems and I are also combo-ing up on a print. My new characters Driver and his sidekick Shotgun. This is a Phoenix exclusive and I printed them on comic bristol board so they have an original art feel to them.
As always I will be doing free head skethces and maybe taking a commission or two.
The aforementioned Billy Brakhage also has big stuff happening this week. As of the rising of the Phoenix show Billy's website CobraCage.com will be launching showcasing his painting, artistic signs from Austin and a teaser for an animated version of a certain ZZ Top album cover. It's not there for another day or two, but if you click on the link it will take you to his blog with his paintings.
More posts to follow with info and stories so stay tuned, folks.
