Inking over David Lafuente was an amazing experience. It's on the other end of the inking spectrum from my Trevor Hairsine inks. Clean, slick and precise. I got to play with all sorts of brushes, brush pens and markers throughout the series.

David pencils a lot of his work with red pencil when he inks himself. Knowing this and having seen his work like that for years, I decided to print these up in red so it would trick me into thinking these were his original pencils.

This is when inking IS very much tracing, and I love it sometimes. My job here was to keep it clean and keep it tight. I felt like I was pinstriping. So much fun.
